Which decorating projects in Plymouth can I see?

These are some of my recent decorating projects across Plymouth and the South Hams, from single rooms to whole houses. Every job starts with a visit and a chat about colour, then careful preparation and a tidy finish. The photos show the real work, so you can judge the finish for yourself before you get in touch.

The biggest recent job was a whole house in 2025, decorated top to bottom. It covered a kitchen diner with navy shaker units, a lounge with a gallery wall, a snug, four bedrooms, a family bathroom and en suite, the hallway and landing, and a home office.

Every room had its own character, and the house still needed to feel like one home. You can see it room by room in the whole house decorating project write-up.

What did the Kingsbridge Farrow & Ball project involve?

In Kingsbridge, I decorated a whole home throughout using mainly Farrow & Ball colours. Strong White, a warm, grey-based white, was the base, with Sulking Room Pink, School House White, Pigeon, Shaded White and Green Smoke used through the rest of the house.

The entrance porch was painted entirely in Strong White (cabinetry, walls, ceiling and door), so it reads as one calm space as you walk in. In the kitchen, some walls were colour matched to the units so the cabinetry looked built in. Details like these are where colour advice makes the biggest difference.

What do customers say about their decorating?

Customers often mention the advice as much as the finish. Sarah Rushton was "at a total loss as to how to improve my dreary dining room" before we talked it through. Anne N described her four-storey Victorian exterior as excellent, "from the choice of colour (Danny's recommendation) to the fine detailing of the period features."

What Daniel actually did: helped me choose the right colours, organised repairs to plasterwork, ceilings and chimney when we discovered damp from all the bad weather (and sorted all scaffolding required!), fixed my wobbly stair bannister, arranged my internal doors to be stripped and refreshed, and even put me in touch with some brilliant plumbers to get other jobs done around the house. He seems to know all the best tradespeople in Plymouth; I've been happy with every one of them.
